I have applied to 15 scholarships, 14 of them through Securing Degrees. At this point, it is central to my scholarship journey. But more than the organization and the tools, Securing Degrees gave me the perspective that this process is doable and that scholarships are out there. I am confident that with the right effort, you can step up and sponsor your own academic journey. I have always had to figure things out on my own, and that kind of relief is irreplaceable to me.

Securing Degrees has supported my scholarship journey by keeping me organized, informed, and consistent throughout my senior year. As someone preparing for college for the first time, I did not always know what deadlines to prioritize, how to track requirements, or how to present myself effectively in scholarship applications. Securing Degrees helped simplify the process by providing a clear system to follow, so I could stay on top of everything without feeling overwhelmed.

Because of the scholarship search, I have created a list of college scholarships, so I will have ways to support my college experience later. Even right now, I am being supported through the Securing Degrees x Boost scholarship as I watch the video walkthrough of the application and use the status updates in my scholarship tracker to ask for feedback and support.

Through Securing Degrees, I developed the discipline to apply for multiple scholarships each month and to set personal goals that kept me committed. The guidance and support from the coaches made a significant difference. They not only helped me improve my applications but also gave me the confidence to believe in my story and my potential.

Because of this program, I have been fortunate enough to win scholarships that are helping me move closer to affording my education.
